1. PURPOSE

This Winner Disclosure Policy outlines how A2B Inc. (“Sponsor”) verifies, contacts, and publicly announces winners of the Fortis Dividend Program™ quarterly sweepstakes (“Promotion”), ensuring transparency and compliance with applicable laws.

2. CPA VERIFICATION REQUIREMENT

Before any winners are selected, A2B Inc. must obtain independent CPA verification of:

  • quarterly net profit,

  • the applicable prize tier,

  • the Promotional Fund amount available for distribution.

Verification takes 30–60 days after quarter-end.
Winner announcements occur only after certification is complete.

3. PRIVATE WINNER NOTIFICATION

Potential winners are contacted using the information provided with their entry.

A winner must:

  • respond within 5 business days,

  • complete verification,

  • provide identity and residency documents,

  • complete any required release forms.

Failure to respond results in disqualification.

4. PUBLIC DISCLOSURE OF WINNER INFORMATION

After verification, A2B Inc. may publicly disclose:

  • first name,

  • first initial of last name,

  • city and province/state,

  • prize tier (not the amount),

  • quarter of the draw.

Example:
“Sarah M. — Calgary, Alberta — Tier 3 Winner (Q2)”

Public disclosure is required for transparency.

5. ANONYMITY OPTION

A verified winner may request anonymity.

In such cases, A2B Inc. will disclose:

  • entry ID,

  • province/state,

  • tier,

  • quarter.

Example:
“Entry #48291 — Ontario — Verified Tier 2 Winner (Q1)”

This does not apply to past announcements already published.

6. NUMBER OF WINNERS DISCLOSED

A2B Inc. will publish the total number of winners for each tier:

  • Tier 1 → 5 winners

  • Tier 2 → 10 winners

  • Tier 3 → 20 winners

  • Tier 4 → 30 winners

  • Tier 5 → 50 winners

Winners receive equal payouts within their tier.

7. PRIZE AMOUNTS NOT DISCLOSED

To protect privacy, A2B Inc. does not publicly disclose:

  • individual prize amounts

  • total quarterly prize fund

  • quarterly profit data

Winners may disclose their own prize amount voluntarily.

8. UNCLAIMED PRIZES

If a winner does not claim their prize within 30 days, A2B Inc. may:

  • award the prize to an alternate winner,

  • roll the funds into the next quarter,

  • or allocate funds to a charitable/promo purpose.

9. RECORD RETENTION

A2B Inc. retains:

  • CPA certification documents

  • draw logs

  • winner verification forms

  • release forms

  • trust account audit records

for four (4) years.

10. AMENDMENTS

This Policy may be updated prospectively.
No retroactive changes apply to past quarters.
